Congratulations to PIES PhD candidate Valentina Lunardi for winning a three-year postdoctoral Fellowship funded by Belgium’s Research Foundation Flanders (FWO)! Hosted by Ghent University’s Linguistics Department, Valentina will be using computational methods to study syntactic variation in tenth century Latin. Anne Breitbarth, Steven Vanderputten, and Els Lefever will supervise Valentina’s project.
