At this year’s Annual Meeting on Phonology, we will have presentations from two current and former PIES graduate students.
Ryan Sandell, former graduate of PIES and associate professor in the Institut für Vergleichende und Historische Sprachwissenschaft sowie Albanologie at LMU Munich will be giving a presentation titled “Does ‘stress deafness’ have a basis in the learnability of layered hidden structure?”
Muhammad Rehan, current graduate student at PIES, will be presenting a coauthored paper with Megha Sundara titled “A tool to derive P-map constraints from infants’ discriminability of phonetic contrasts.”
