AOS Practice Talks | PIES Grad Seminar

PIES grad sem will meet for Week 10 on Wednesday, March 12 between 6-8pm in Dodd 248 and on Zoom at the following link: https://ucla.zoom.us/my/rehanmuh.
This week, we will have three practice talks for AOS 2025 (schedule):
  1. John Clayton: “Arundhatī́ ‘Wound-Setter’: Parasitism, Medicine, & Sexuality in Ancient India”
  2. Anahita Hoose: “Anti-Sacrifice Propaganda in Jain Narrative Literature”
  3. Anthony Yates: “The Ablaut of Hittite ḫi-Verbs in –(a)i– and a New (Anatolian) Sound Law”
As usual, the seminar will be accompanied by food and drinks.
