PIES Grad Sem will start its spring iteration of meetings on Tuesday, April 1 between 6-8pm in Dodd 248 and on Zoom at this link: https://ucla.zoom.us/my/
This week, we will pick up where we left off last quarter with more AOS practice talks:
Alex Roy will give a presentation titled “Quasi-causative circumlocutions in early Vedic“.
Elisa Migliaretti will give us a preview of her co-authored presentation with Riccardo Ginvera titled “Who’s Counting? The Indo-European Sky and the Measurement of Time“.
Ethan Friedland will be presenting “The Personal and Impersonal Aspects of Avestan Hąm.varəiti“.
As usual, the seminar will be accompanied by food and drinks.
