- “Phylogenetic inference from cognate word forms” (Journal of Language Evolution; with Shawn H. McCreight, Éva Buchi, and John P. Huelsenbeck) applies the TKF91 model of sequence evolution to infer phylogenies from sound changes in cognate word forms.
